Bringing Literature to Life

The LPHS Library is home to approximately 27,000 volumes which include books, magazines, encyclopedias and a multitude of media. The library is also a place in which students can relax and read, research information on the internet, and charge their Chromebook. The library is also the location of the Service on Site or SOS room that diagnoses and repairs all student and faculty Chromebook issues. The technology in the library will allow students to create a podcast, edit movies and reels as well as slide shows, Powerpoint presentations, soundtrack editing and 3D printing. SlicerTech, the La Porte High School robotics team, D&D club and Slicer Readers also call the media center home.
