  • Attention Seniors!!

    Unity Foundation is excited to announce that this year’s application for the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship for La Porte County will be available online at uflc.net/scholarships/lilly on Monday, August 5. The application deadline is September 11.  As a reminder, the application requires a high school transcript. Applicants will be prompted to enter the email address for the appropriate contact for their school, who will then be notified of the request to provide information.  

  • Please check Naviance for updated information on scholarships.

  • IMPORTANT FOR SENIORS: if you need transcripts or any counselor forms sent to colleges, please make sure your requests are loaded into Naviance. Counselors will need time to process them, so please allow 2- 3 weeks. Keep in mind, many colleges have a deadline of November 1 for admission and scholarship consideration.

  • IMPORTANT The LPHS Alumni scholarship will be available on the Unity Foundation website. Please check their site for this information.

  • LPHS is utilizing Naviance, a comprehensive college, career and life readiness solution (CCLR) platform that helps districts and schools align student strengths and interests to postsecondary goals to improve student outcomes and connect learning to life. Naviance consists of a platform where students can explore and manage information about college, career and life readiness. To login, students will access their Clever accounts and click on Naviance.

SAT PREP

Students/Families, if you are interested in preparing for the SAT to get higher scores for college admissions or scholarships, we have an opportunity for you. Dr. Carlin has been helping students with test prep for over 25 years. His goal is to make MORE SAT Practice available for MORE KIDS!  (which means cost effective for anyone who wants SAT Prep)

It will take a parent OR a student 30 seconds to complete.

This will give him a sense on numbers - the more students, the better the rate. His rates are very reasonable for live sessions.

The Indiana College Core ensures that your 30 hours of general education credit transfers between public colleges and universities. By completing this credential with Ivy Tech while you’re still in high school, you can guarantee that most, if not all, of your core college classes will already be completed by the time you begin college, regardless of what school you choose to attend.
Associate Degree
